Full benefits covered Retirement for life Time and half is paid for anything over 8 hours per day Saturdays are time and a half pay Sundays and holidays are double pay Schooling of your trade is also covered and free This position will be Mon-fri 6-4:30pm and Saturday 6 – (depends on work). Must be willing to work overtime plus Saturdays as needed. Position Summary This position involves hands-on maintenance of shop equipment and the office building. The role includes diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical issues, as well as leading a team of maintenance personnel. Duties & Responsibilities Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics expertise. Supervise maintenance team (1-3 people). Troubleshoot and repair electrical components on facility and manufacturing equipment (e.g., CNC plasma, waterjet, band saws, press, rollers, welders, forklifts). Disassemble and reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, and valves, replacing worn or defective parts as needed. Troubleshoot, install, and repair AC/DC motors, starters, relays, drives, and control boards. Install new equipment, understand technical manuals, read blueprints, assist with creating preventive maintenance schedules, and purchase necessary replacement parts. Perform preventive maintenance according to planned schedules, including cleaning and lubricating machinery and inspecting equipment operating conditions. Identify and address root causes of equipment problems. Troubleshoot and repair welders and welding equipment. Participate in sourcing capital equipment. Manage green tag safety protocol for new equipment installations. Serve as a member of the safety committee. Plan and execute building remodels and expansions, including scheduling and overseeing subcontractors. Qualification Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Mechanical and electrical experience. Prior welding experience with wire and stick is helpful, but not required. Basic math skills. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Physical Requirements Mobility: Sit 5%, Stand 45%, Walk 50%. Climbing: Ladder 10%, Incline 30%, Stairs 10%. Weight Lifting: Lift 75 lbs to waist height; lift 150 lbs with assistance, carry weight a distance of 20 feet. Physical Dexterity: Hand tools 45%, Electric tools 50%, Manipulate small objects 5%. Essential abilities: Sight, hearing, touch, and speech. Useful abilities: Ability to distinguish colors. #M1
