- Customer service in industrial or manufacturing industries.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers regarding the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of flow meters and valves used in our industry.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve fundamental technical problems related to our products, working closely with customers to ensure minimal downtime in their operations.
- Escalate complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
- Product Guidance: Offer expert advice on selecting and using flow meters and valves to meet specific operational needs. Provide recommendations based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Quotes and Orders: Prepare accurate customer quotes based on their specific needs and requirements. Enter orders into the system and ensure they are processed efficiently and correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues, quotes, orders, and solutions.
- Customer Communication: Communicate clearly with customers to understand their technical challenges, provide solutions, and ensure they receive accurate quotes and timely order processing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with planning, purchasing, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure customer orders are on track.
- Communicate any changes in delivery schedules to customers to manage expectations and maintain satisfaction.
- Customer Satisfaction: Strive to meet and exceed customer expectations. Ensure that customer support processes align with industry standards and the company's quality objectives.
- Terms and Conditions: Possess a basic understanding of the terms and conditions of orders, including payment terms, warranties, and other contractual obligations.
- Incoterms Knowledge: Understand how they apply to shipping and delivering products, ensuring customers are informed of their responsibilities and liabilities in international transactions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Technical diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technology, Process Technology, or similar). Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
- Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of technical matters
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer-focused: Interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: organizational skills with the ability to prepare accurate quotes and enter orders.
