Job Description :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to input, update, and maintain accurate data across various systems and databases. The ideal candidate should have strong typing skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry:
    • Accurately input and update data in company systems and databases.
    • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Data Verification:
    • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entering it into systems.
    • Perform regular audits to ensure the data is error-free and up-to-date.
  • Record Maintenance:
    • Maintain and organize digital and physical records.
    • Ensure data is easily retrievable and accurately maintained.
  • Filing and Organization:
    • Organize and maintain a filing system for important company documents.
    • Keep databases organized, ensuring all information is correctly classified.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure all data needs are met.
    • Communicate with team members to retrieve missing or unclear information.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate regular reports and summaries of the data.
    • Assist with compiling data for presentations or projects as requested.
    Qualifications:
    • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in office management or data management are a plus.
    • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
    • Experience with data entry software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is preferred.
    • Skills:
    • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum [X] words per minute).
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment (such as scanners, printers).
