Title Immediate Opening: Custodian / Maintenance Location Albuquerque, NM Description South Valley Academy, a charter school serving grades 6-12, seeks an experienced custodian/maintenance person to fill an immediate opening for a full-time afternoon shift. Candidates must be physically capable and willing to perform required tasks in custodial and general maintenance. This position will report to the Head Custodian and will work with other custodians to ensure the cleanliness of classrooms and public spaces. A full benefits package, including health, dental, and vision is available with a starting rate of $13/hour. Hourly rate is negotiable dependent on experience. Benefits South Valley Academy offers a full benefits package for employees through the New Mexico Public School Insurance Authority. This includes medical, dental, and vision. Employees accrue 10 days of personal leave throughout the contract year plus 5 days off during the summer. Requirements Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Must pass a background check
Physical requirements of the position include: moderate to heavy lifting (25+ pounds), bending, kneeling, and walking to perform duties around a large school campus.
