MPTV Lab Aide, SC1MPTVSSMPTV (SP25)Student Worker Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the MPTV Lab

Check equipment in and out of lab.

Clean and organize all classrooms and Lab.

Assist students and teachers with hardware and software questions, when appropriate.

Log in computers for classes.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
  • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
  • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

• Experience
  • Must have experience with Mac computers required.

• Licenses and Certifications

• COD Training
  • Compliance Training

Working Conditions:

Computers, copy machine, phones stereos.

Carry equipment short distances.

Computer software for animation, video editing and television.

The lab is open until 10pm.

Lab opens at 8am.

Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

Comfortable, friendly, people orientated.

Hours: M-S 20 hours max.

This position requires a background check at the expense of the College.
