- Performs custodial maintenance duties including, but not limited to dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms. Assists the Lead Custodian in maintaining the school in a clean and orderly condition so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred prior experience in custodial and light maintenance duties
- Knowledge of and the ability operate machinery, chemicals, and tools needed
- Knowledge of general cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work well with other team members
- Ability to follow directions without close supervision
Responsibilities:
- Represent West Lafayette Community School Corporation by maintaining a professional attitude
- Safely performs all custodial duties as assigned
- Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled
- Communicate effectively with other staff and students
- Deliver excellent customer service to all that utilize the school facilities and serve our diverse population
- Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training.
Application Requirements:
- Acceptable results of an expanded criminal history background check done at the cost of the applicant

Salary & Benefits:
- Starting at $16.50 / hr.

- 260 days / yr. (year-round)
