Job Description :

Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC machine tools or Tool Room equipment as needed to build, repair, revise and service molds, fixtures and related tools in a safe and timelymanner.Ensure molds, fixtures, and related tools are fit and assembled according to design specifications.Monitor jobs and assigned tasks utilizing MRP systems to ensure projects are completed on time.Inform the appropriate stakeholders of any expected delays or potential impacts to tool performance or delivery.Aid in trouble shooting and resolving tooling performance problems.Inspect machined components and records dimensional data.Attend tool design review meetings and provide input to design for manufacturabilityTrain and mentor other team members in accepted methods and best practices of the tradeEducation and ExperienceRequired:High School Diploma or equivalentEstimated 7 years of tool making experienceExperience with CAD for examination of tool assembliesDesired:2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Trades/Tool and DieProgramming experience using CAD/CAM technologySome experience in leading a project or teamCompetenciesAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English languageAbility to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectivelyAbility to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performanceAbility to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlinesWillingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakesDesire to delight both customers and coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriatelyCommitment to making improvements company wideDemonstrated competence using Microsoft OfficeAdvanced mathematical skillsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
