Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including warehouse workers, supervisors, and administrative personnel, to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Track and Develop KPI's to drive performance and identify process gaps.
- Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliation processes. Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize shrinkage, obsolescence, scrap, and rework.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the distribution center operates in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety among staff.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution center budget, including labor costs, equipment purchases, and operational expenses.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve any order discrepancies or delivery issues promptly.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports to monitor performance on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline operations, improve data accuracy,and automation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Working Conditions:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment.
- Environment: Work is performed in a warehouse setting with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, and moderate noise levels.
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime and weekend work as required to meet operational demands.
