Job Description Collaborates with senior leadership and department management to plan and implement clinical services, systems, and performance improvement activities as they relate to a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to patients. Collaborates with management in developing and maintaining policies and procedures for the department. Collaborates with management to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Job Responsibility •Collaborates with department leadership including chairperson, director of patient care services and administrative director to facilitate continuous process improvement, raising the standard of care delivery through frontline team engagement •Provides clinical expertise and quality assessment for the successful referral, transfer, and overall care of patients •Develops goals in collaboration with senior leadership and implements initiatives to promote operational and service excellence for patients, physicians, and staff •Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and/or the expansion of services; implements approved enhancements. •Analyzes department volume, acuity, programmatic changes and provide recommendation of best practice staffing standards •Analysis and reporting of data regarding performance indicators •Reviews current standards and creates/reviews policies to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines •Analyzes and reports on quality improvement metrics to ensure patient satisfaction •Identifies opportunities for EMR IT enhancements and executes changes on behalf of the enterprise •Disseminates changes in elements of performance and assists sites in implementing new processes •Develops and leverages strategic business relationships and networking opportunities with entities including but not limited to, physicians, medical/group practices, business leaders, and community-based organizations •Overall responsibility for managing clinical processes or clinical program elements that have impact greater than at a unit level •Responsible for program development, technical execution, program administration •Makes decision regarding direction of program and achievement of program goals •Responsible for fiscal management of program •Responsible for clinical program regulatory compliance and governance Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Masters preferred
  • Current Clinical License to practice in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed
  • 3-5 years of technical experience required
  • 1-2 years of leadership / management experience, preferred
  • Strong operational knowledge, preferred.
  • Strong Quality background, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Nursing practice, preferred.
  • RN License, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and networking abilities, preferred.
