Responsibilities:Operate folder gluers, and window machines, while maintaining production equipment numbers and quality.Determine production priorities; make ready assignments and materials required.Perform and document quality audits.Approve job to run.Audit job start-up.Generate statistical reports.Verify job completion.Understand/use Shop Floor, Case Inkjet, Mix Prevention System, and Robot Cells.Understand job sheet.Check job specifications to carton.Make-ready machine.Set glue pot, set glue guns, set pressure rollers, set counter, set kicker.Perform Edge Caliper, Opening Force.Monitor carton quality.Maintain materials for production.Clean glue systems.Complete necessary reports (forms).Maintenance related functions.Assist crews in trouble shooting problems and obstacles on machine.Assist in coordinating PMs for equipment.Qualifications:Minimum High School Diploma/GED.Prior machine operating experienceSmurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
