As a VISTA member, you'll play a vital role in building our Community Sponsorship Program's capacity. You'll work closely with volunteers and co-sponsorship groups to support refugees' successful integration into the US. Member Duties : - Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our program, including its systems, processes, and resources. - Identify key players and stakeholders involved in the program and understand their roles and responsibilities. - Research and analyze the historical environment of our program to gain insights and learn from past experiences. - Evaluate the level of engagement of the target community and identify areas for improvement and increased involvement. - Implement systems for tracking and monitoring program activities and outcomes, allowing for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. - Document best practices, lessons learned, and successful strategies employed during their tenure. - Create comprehensive onboarding and training materials and resources. - Foster relationships and partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders. - Facilitate knowledge transfer through workshops, presentations, and mentoring opportunities.
