HASC Center is dedicated to providing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the necessary tools to live as independently as possible, with support offered to the extent that is necessary to meet person-centered outcomes and sustain a quality of life that is productive and meaningful. All of this will be provided within an agency culture that promotes kindness, warmth, sensitivity, and affection.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Implement and document progress of individualized goals
• Advocate for individuals' rights.
• Strong time management skills and diligence in documenting goals
• Provide support to the family
• Willing to travel within NYC

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• No previous experience required
