**Warehouse Receiving Support Associate**

**Department:** Support Operations **Location:** Austin, TX

We know that every individual has specific needs for their work environment, so the customer service we provide is 100% individualized for 100% satisfaction. We also have a Certified Professional Ergonomist on staff to help optimize our customers work environments using ergonomic principles, ergonomics being the science of designing the workplace to fit and accommodate the worker.

**SUMMARY**

The Supply team at UPLIFT Desk is responsible for on-time delivery of quality products to the customer. Due to quickly expanding volume, we are in need of a highly motivated and goal-oriented Warehouse Receiving Support Associate. The primary emphasis of this position is receiving and general warehouse labor. Support Associates will report to the Support Supervisor and work closely with the forklift team, line re-stockers and the production team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

* Unloading trailers and shipping containers by hand, pallet jack and/or forklift

* Stretch wrapping and banding pallets

* Material handling and rework

* Cutting wood for pallets

* Landscaping/Yard maintenance

* Cleaning common areas of warehouse

* Performing as flex labor for pick/pack, parcel shipping and freight shipping teams

* Reporting location is on Cameron Road - but the position will require travel to 3 other local warehouses according to business needs

* Transporting employees to other work locations in a company-provided van

**REQUIREMENTS**

First priority given to those that can meet our minimum qualifications for driving needs. The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

* The ability to move furniture up to 120 lbs with reasonable accommodation

* The ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, pull, and lift objects up to 65 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

* New hires must be willing to submit to a required background check and potentially drug testing. Applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

* Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (with an hour lunch break), must be available to work Saturdays as needed

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**

* 25 years of age or older

* Valid Drivers License

* Van (commercial size) experience a plus

* High school diploma or equivalent

* No more than 2 non-major moving violations (e.g. speeding, failure to yield, at-fault accident) in the past 3 years, and no more than 2 in the past 12 months.

* No major motor vehicle convictions within the past 4 years. (e.g. DWI, Driving while license suspended)
