Warehouse Supervisor

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturing client in Portland, IN who is looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to their team. Main responsibilities include managing the warehouse teams, customer communication, shipping and receiving operations, and helping build and stabilize the warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
- Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor
- Experience working with Manufacturing Production Schedules
- Experience leading a team of 5+ people
