Job Description :
The Cleaning Attendant is a critical position that demonstrates a passion for maintaining the gym facilities, amenities, and equipment in a “like-new” condition always. The care into delivering “clean and crisp” throughout the gym is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and healthy operation. That care creates a warm, kind, and hospitable environment for team members and members alike. Reports to:
  • Operations Manager and/or General Manager
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient reading and writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong safety skills
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
  • Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
  • Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
  • Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
  • Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
  • Know, understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
  • Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
  • Assist in all projects delegated by club management
  • Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
  • Any additional tasks/projects as requested by Management
Requirements:
  • Certifications, as local/state laws require
  • Lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
  • Stand, bend, and squat with frequency
  • Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
Meetings:
  • Monthly or Weekly Department Meetings
  • Employee Training Meetings
Compensation:
  • Part-time and full-time positions are available
  • Full time employees are eligible for a free gym membership
