Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our country club facilities. Responsibilities include performing repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, maintaining outdoor areas, and responding to maintenance requests from staff. The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our members and guests. This person will assist the Maintenance Manager & Facilities Tech in their duties as well as housekeeping (as needed). Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist higher level Technicians in responding to Facility ServiceWork Orders from building occupants.
  • Requests may include plumbing, HVAC, lighting & roofing.
  • At least some experience in preventative maintenance, repairs,modifications and general facility maintenance tasks in the areas ofpainting, patching, fixtures, caulking, carpentry, etc.
  • Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue (ladders, basicpower tools, etc)
  • Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying allwork requests.
  • Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Assist Housekeeping department in duties as needed
Requirements Physical Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds and carry it a distance of 50 yards.
  • May be exposed to wet slippery floors, objects on floor and various chemicals and sharp objects.Works on carpeted, concrete, wood, tile and/or vinyl floors or combination within the confines of a commercial building.
  • Mainly indoors but can be exposed to temperature extremes and other weather conditions when working outdoors.
  • Ability to climb ladders
Key Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma (or GED) and general work experience related to people and/or machinery is required.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, which include repetitive tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
  • Ability to work within precise limits and standards of numerical accuracy.
  • Good math, verbal, written skills as well as good interpersonal skills are desired.
  • Basic computer skill knowledge is also desired.
  • Basic General Maintenance Knowledge
  • Basic Power Tool experience
  • Basic HVAC, preferred
