Conn Selmer Europe are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Area Sales Representative for the Ludwig and Musser brands as we move into the next phase of our business development, where the key focus will be to drive sales growth in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Conn Selmer Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of Conn Selmer Inc. one of the world's most successful makers and distributors of musical instruments – with a revered portfolio encompassing brands such as Bach, Conn, King, Holton, Leblanc, Ludwig and Musser.

Many of our instruments continue to be designed and crafted by artisans in our US based facilities and workshops managed by our own highly skilled craftsmen and women. Whilst instruments continue to be developed in the US there is an increasing focus on Europe where we are seeing great potential for business growth, as we further grow our direct distribution and establish strong relationships with our ever-expanding dealer network.

We expect the successful candidate to make a major and significant contribution to our future success with new and creative ideas to grow and strengthen our business:

The Candidate would be responsible for:

  • Look for ways to further grow our business across Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Visit and communicate with Dealers/Retailers on a regular basis
  • Support the sales journey both Pre and Post sale
  • Collect feedback for both Product Development with Market Research
  • Keep in close communication with the European Sales Manager
  • Support sales and product training for dealers' staff
  • Give advice and support on short, mid and long term initiatives
  • Work within the CSE team to ensure a good result
  • Work closely with marketing by supplying product and market information
  • Attend key meetings and events in Europe
  • Assist the Accounting department when required
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive dealer database

Requirements:

  • Have strong communication skills
  • Ability to act in a discretionary and confidential manner
  • Responsible and accountable attitude
  • Ability to demonstrate a range of the Ludwig and/or Musser products
  • Being able to speak German and English is vital
  • Computer literate – strong basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong Knowledge of Percussion instruments
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis
  • European Driving Licence

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Monday – Friday
