We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food production and service management systems. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food production and service management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the restaurant, ensuring that all staff are properly prepared for the shift and that all closing procedures are completed to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and train team members, including crew members and line cooks, to ensure they meet the company's standards for food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to monitor food quality, presentation, and overall restaurant cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy with cash handling.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective strategies for improving customer satisfaction, increasing sales, and enhancing the overall restaurant experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Ensure that all staff members are aware of their roles and responsibilities and are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and manage labor costs, ensuring that staffing levels are optimized to meet business needs.
  • Take charge in emergency situations and respond quickly and effectively to any issues that may arise.
  • Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food production and service management.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality practices, including food safety and customer service standards.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
