Our client, in West Chester, OH is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and financial analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and 3 or more years of experience in performing accounting or bookkeeping functions for commercial companies. Job Title: Accounting Clerk Location: West Chester, OH Work Hours: 9:00am-2:00pm- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 20 hours a week Pay: Competitive wages dependent on your experience What's the Job?
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and project reports
- Develop and maintain cost finding
- Lead the process of reviewing invoices and employee expense claims
- Process vendor prompt payments and reconciled account activity
- Control inventory balances and book material transfer
- Identify areas of potential risk within the organization
What's Needed?
- 3 or more years of experience in performing accounting or bookkeeping functions for commercial companies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other applications under Microsoft Suite
- Good communication and financial analytical skills
