Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX OR Remote Duration: 90 day contract Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Sr Cloud Engineer The Senior Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure provides subject matter expertise in the Infrastructure technology used for public and private cloud solutions. The role is responsible for independent work implementing solutions to solve business needs or improve existing operations. This includes evaluating requirements, proposing alternatives, implementing solutions, as well as monitoring success criteria for implemented solutions. The position will work closely with business and technology teams including but not limited to Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Application Development, Loan Originations, Business Operations, Data Science, and Security. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Participates in design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of a public and private cloud infrastructure platforms to support customer facing applications and internal business systems. Deploy and maintain public and private cloud infrastructure via automation/orchestration and manual configuration implementations. Perform reliability engineering duties to build durable HA solutions and ensure proper instrumentation in place to improve monitoring, alerting and observability of platforms. Provide Level III / II support by leading troubleshooting efforts and resolving application outages, monitoring production applications, and supporting the day-to-day operations of Production and Development environments. Demonstrate subject matter expertise on many systems. Ensure applications, systems, processes, and use case solutions adhere to the architectural, security, and compliance standards. Provide technical expertise to define, implement, and test recovery processes and technologies used in the event of loss of operational systems. Positively and proactively influence and lead in interactions with other teams such as Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Application Development, Loan Originations, Business Operations, Data Science, and Security teams in the administration, support, security, and use of various public and private cloud platforms; providing constructive feedback in a positive manner. Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience. 4-5 years professional infrastructure engineering experience supporting Azure private cloud infrastructure covering virtualized storage and compute platforms, certificate/encryption management, identity management, VDI, and similar platforms. 4-5 years professional experience supporting Windows 2019 Server 2-3 year's professional experience in Azure IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS solutions 1-3 year's professional experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration processes. Required Skills, Abilities, Soft Skill Factors Proven experience with Infrastructure technologies including Virtualization, Identity Management, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, Certificate Management/PKI, Active Directory Group Policy, Sites and Services, etc. Proven understanding of networking concepts and technologies and their impacts on infrastructure and systems; this includes items such as DNS, DHCP, Load-balancing, firewalls, etc. Ability to work independently to solve problems and implement solutions Core Traits Demonstrates an analytic approach to troubleshooting and development of solutions.
