Protects life and property of all persons on Medical Center premises and patrols Medical Center buildings and grounds to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, illegal entry and enforces parking regulations, unlock doors, deliver newspapers, assist funeral directors with transportation, escort customers as needed. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties: Assures and operates security equipment and systems such as CCTV, access control, burglar alarms, and others are continuously in good working order by conducting maintenance and inspections as needed. Warns violators of rule infractions, such as smoking and carrying forbidden articles, and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts, watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
