We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to promote and sell our steel tube products to both new and existing clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the steel industry and the ability to identify customer needs, build strong relationships, and deliver solutions that meet client requirements. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and capable of driving growth through effective sales strategies and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to identify new sales opportunities, analyze market trends, and understand competitor activity in the steel tube industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Provide technical advice and product information to clients to ensure they select the correct steel tubes for their specific applications.
- Proposal & Quotation Management: Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals to maximize profitability.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software and prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by managing post-sales support, handling client complaints, and addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or product specifications.
- Travel: Visit potential and existing clients on-site to assess needs, make presentations, and provide product demonstrations when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel, metals, or industrial products sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel tubes, their applications, and the industrial sectors that utilize them.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp product specifications and explain technical details to customers.
- Self-Motivated: Results-oriented with a proactive approach to generating sales and identifying growth opportunities.
- CRM Software: Experience with sales and CRM software for tracking leads, opportunities, and managing client data.
