Title: Outside Sales Representative

Location: Permian Basin/ Midland, TX

Shift: 1st, Monday-Friday

Pay: $75k-$120k (Depending on Experience), Plus Comission

Daily Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a direct placement opportunity in the Midland, TX (Permian Basin) area. In this role, primary responsibilities of this representative will include cold calling and meeting with prospective clients within the oil and gas industry, improving business partnerships, preparing sales information and gathering quotes for customers. Knowledge of key players and companies within the oil and gas industry are crucial for the role to help grow and form strategic partnerships and identifying new business. The client is looking for someone who has excellent communication and organizational skills to be able to foster new business with potential clients as well as present to both clients as well as stakeholders. This role will require travel and the occasional overnight stay (travel is expenses through the company).

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• 3-4 years of experience in the oil/gas industry (competitor companies: Gajeske, Seacor, Rainmaker Energy)
• Outside sales representative experience -- stay away from manufacturing sales representatives
• Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services.
• Ability to travel and open to overnight stays: travel around the 2–3-hour radius pretty much weekly and some days overnight, some days just more local calls

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of the HDPE business
