Through the Sourcing Associate Program, we offer you a unique platform to start your career coached by experienced mentors and managers. You will have the opportunity to rotate within 24 months through different teams. You will be offered training sessions, including on-the-job training from internal experts to develop your portfolio of skills and foster the ability to transfer this knowledge and apply it to your daily work. Your senior-level mentor will provide real-time feedback throughout the course and help you define long-term career paths. Upon program graduation, you are expected to land in a managerial role.

Your commitments to the program will help you establish the knowledge, exposures, and connections to be a well-rounded future sourcing leader, further guaranteeing the continuous success of the sourcing organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and actively participate in the basic roles and responsibilities associated with key sourcing operations and functions, including Product Creation (Costing, Materials, Product Testing), Tactical and Production Planning, and Manufacturing (Quality and ME).
  • Intern successfully in these roles and participate as an active member of the team's success.
  • Impact on Business – Provide a pool of highly capable individuals ready to step into key positions when necessary.
  • Customer/Suppliers/Third Parties – Shadow the Senior Director of Sourcing Operations (SDSO)/Directors/Senior Managers in most of their interactions, while participating in the team's daily duties. Understand the functions and responsibilities, provide concrete support to the assigned departments, report to your mentor (SDSO) regularly, and receive coaching.
  • Leadership/Management Responsibilities – Be capable of taking functional and project leadership under SDSO guidance; be considered a “role model” for higher roles within the organization.
  • Innovation and Change – Foster an attitude for change and bring new ideas to the teams.
  • POSSIBLE KEY RELATIONSHIPS

    • SDSO/Directors/Senior Managers, Costing Manager, Materials Manager, Manufacturing Excellence (ME), Quality Teams, HQ Teams
    • T1 management and various levels of the assigned departments

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Technical skills (manufacturing, planning, project management, industrial engineering, materials engineering, biomechanical or sport science preferred)
    • Analytical skills, reporting, and data collection

    REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • We are looking for world citizens with a passion for excellence, an open and inquisitive mind, and a passion for sports. Talented individuals, willing to learn, are fitting for this job, which requires attention to detail, curiosity, spirit of observation, and discipline.
    • No previous work experience required but preferred. Vocational training (preferred in a multinational organization), MA in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or MBA preferred.
    • Multiple language skills: fluent English - written and spoken - required; German, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia an advantage.
    • Flexibility and willingness to relocate at the company's request.
