Stella Digital seeks an energetic and versatile sales leader with experience in high-end fashion industry for the Director of New Business Development position. The New Business Director is responsible for sourcing new clients (photographers, agents, art directors, producers) and ensuring the quality of services delivered to existing clients are consistent and satisfactory. The candidate will serve as a primary contact for all new and ongoing business opportunities. He/she will improve sales, productivity and service by understanding business needs and issues and devise effective sales strategies. Candidate should be able to interact daily with photographers, producers, art directors, agents and other industry figures in the high-end fashion, retail, consumer/lifestyle field. Duties include, but not limited to: - Develop new clients - build relationships with brands and media also; developing high-end partnership deals and negotiating contracts - Manage the daily operations of the business - email/calls to potential clients, manage calendar, schedule meetings, etc. - Assess needs for an effective PR strategy - attending events and openings as needed Qualifications: -5 - 7 years working with high-end fashion, media, luxury goods, consumer/lifestyle brands agency. B.A. required. -Expert at maintaining ongoing relationships with members of top-tier media. Strong industry contacts and media relations skills. -Confident management style with the ability to communicate effectively in all forms and at all levels -Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; superior communication and presentation skills -Able to work on multiple projects & initiatives under company strategy and cope well under pressure.
