Position: Patient Access Manager Location: Warden, WA

What We're Looking For: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and other web-based tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for educating and leading teams.
- Basic Life Support (Heartsaver level) certification within three months of hire.
Hours & Compensation: - Full-time position.
- Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
- Full benefits package, including relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee patient access operations, including scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and registration for both outpatient and inpatient services.
- Foster a streamlined registration process that emphasizes accurate data collection and a patient-centered approach among staff.
- Implement best practices to enhance front-end efficiency and improve the patient experience.
- Collaborate with leadership to set goals, priorities, and performance standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of patient demographic and insurance information to support an efficient revenue cycle.
- Maintain high standards of excellence for departmental operations.
- Work closely with hospital departments such as Case Management, Scheduling, Utilization Review, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, and clinical service departments to ensure smooth patient access workflows.
Additional Information: - Reports to the Patient Financial Services Director.
- Manages a team of 13-15 direct reports.
- Plays a key role in ensuring effective operations and supporting the hospital's revenue cycle through sound judgment and decision-making.
