Registered Nurse - Two openings are available on Unit C&A, Evenings, for a Registered Nurse 1. The successful candidate must be able to assist the Unit LIA team in the care of newly admitted patients. Job Duties/Expectations include but not limited to: Utilize knowledge of medical, psychiatric, psychosocial aspects of illness in the care of patients. Provide therapeutic environment including counseling and teaching according to the patient's developmental level and ability to comprehend. Serve as a role model/consultant, teacher, resource staff as a professional nurse responsible for the provision of quality patient care, professional relationships, compliance with professional facility standards. Supervise and evaluate RN's and paraprofessional staff as assigned. Provide overall direction to shift when assigned as charge. Must be able to perform computer functions required for the position. Minimum Qualifications for this position include: Current GBHC employee in an RNI title.
