Candidates must be able to work on a hybrid set-up in NY (2 days onsite per week) Must have strong experience in HBase and Java coding. Requirements: •5+ years of experience in Hadoop and related technologies (HBase, Hive, HDFS) •Strong understanding of HBase architecture, HBase internals, and HBase client tuning •Strong experience with Hive 3, Spark and Oozie •2+ years of experience in Java development and associated technologies (Eg: Spring / JMX / JDBC). •Knowledge of modern development methodologies and tools (Jenkins/Maven/Jira). •Strong problem-solving and communication skills. •Experience with distributed systems architecture and system design. •Knowledge of Ansible. •Experience working with open-source software/community.
