Job Description:
Chaplin Elementary School is seeking a caring, responsible, and compassionate 1:1 paraprofessional. The 1:1 works as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of a certified special education teacher. The 1:1 supports the student during whole class / small group instruction as well as assisting with ADLs. The 1:1 will also assist with record-keeping to document student learning and progress towards IEP goals and objectives.
Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Minimum educational requirements: Associate's degree or completion of 60 college credits; or passing score on the ETS/ParaPro Assessment Exam.
