JOB DEFINITION:Work with the CN Guidance MIT Team to deliver services individuals whose needs have not been met by more traditional service delivery approaches.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical/Masters Social Worker, Licensed Marriageand Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Creative ArtsTherapist

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Three years experience in mental health and/or chemical dependency field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Charged with supervisory and administrative responsibilities to ensure that staff meets the standards and requirements of the Agency and appropriate funding and regulatory bodies.
  • Direct and supervise staff activities, lead team organizational and service planningmeetings and provide direction to staff regarding individual cases. Conduct side-by-side contacts with staff and regularly conduct individual supervision meetings.
  • Responsible for overseeing Assessment and Service Planning, Quality assurance andImprovement Processes, Utilization Review, Incident Reporting, coordination between MIT and other systems.
  • Engage in performing assessments, handling crisis intervention and discharge planning.
  • Provide direct, face-to-face and/or collateral services to recipients either in the MIT office or in the community in places and situations where problems arise.
  • Must be available (along with other members of the MIT Team) on an as needed basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Manages the after-hour's calls for the team.
  • Participates in planning for the needs of the community and the Agency with the rest of the administrative team.
  • Support the use of data in clinical supervision to inform decision-making
  • Identify and implement quality improvement training and activities as part of professional development goals
  • Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed.
  • Encourage quality improvement processes and provide consistent resources for QI and professional development
