The Sanitation Lead will assist, train and coach team members in the daily cleaning and sanitation of the harvesting and packaging room and any other area assigned. This is a 2nd shift position, which is 5:45pm-6:15am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist with the onboarding and training of new hires.
  • Daily cleaning of harvesting and packaging equipment.
  • Assembling and dissembling specific machinery at the end of the product run.
  • Perform all duties on the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • Follow protocols for food safe environment in accordance with sanitation SOP's.
  • Sweep, clean and squeegee floors in greenhouse.
  • Prepare the production floor for preoperational inspection.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines, complete training as assigned, and report food safety problems to your supervisor or other member of management as soon as identified.
  • Help foster a culture of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate:

  • 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred but not required.
  • Good attendance
  • Be able to get the job done with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting to occasionally 25 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a cold (37F) or hot (75F) environment throughout the day.
