Job DescriptionJob DescriptionUnited Talent is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lumber Puller to join our team in the Uniontown, PA area. Responsibilities:
- Pull lumber boards off lumber pulling chain
- Place in designated racking according to specifications
- Climb over and under equipment to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas.
- Perform general clean-up tasks throughout the facility.
- Complete any additional work-related tasks as directed by mill management.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Provide support to other sawmill workers and operators as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 75lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.
- Steel toe boots required
Pay & Shift:
- $16.56
- 1st shift Monday -Thursday 6am-3:30pm & 4+ hours on Friday
