Requirements:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to the Shipping Supervisor in the preparation and packaging of finished products for shipment.
- Operate a Commercial company truck with flatbed and gooseneck trailer attachment.
- Read, write and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual a plus but not required.
- Accurately read and use a standard tape measure.
- Possess effective and clear communication skills.
- Project a positive and professional attitude in the plant and office setting as well as with customers in the field.
- Maintain a composed, calm demeanor in a fast-paced work environment and when interacting with customers.
- Conform to and comply with Company's dress code.
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull, up to 75 pounds on an infrequent basis
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Licenses and other requirements:
- Valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Must provide a current DMV driving record upon request.
