This employee will ensure that key delivery objectives such Safety and Production Rates are met. He or she will also drive continuous improvements of the production process at the facility, and oversee those improvements. Role and Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Coordinate production plan daily with Fulfillment Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and/or Operations Manager to determine product build requirementsSupervise employees during Midnight shift across all production areasAssign each specific product needed to appropriate line personnelEnsure raw materials are available for production teams to keep runningCheck all QC lot numbers and dates to ensure accuracy ensure that lot control is accurately keptLocate and move raw materials from Warehouse and log them into inventoryTransfer finished products to shipping and log them into inventoryEnsure raw materials are kept stocked as neededHelp keep production equipment running smoothly, minor repairs as neededAssist in production role if the need arises (absentee, no-shows)Provide necessary training to new hires as requiredCoordinate with Operations Manager and HR regarding staffing and scheduling needsMaintain in contact with shipping and others via Slack every dayWork Environment:Often work in indoor environments, such as a warehouse.Work closely to other peopleSupportive managers and co-workers in a overall healthy environmentEnsure all employees work in a safe & healthful environment free from discrimination.Qualifications and Requirements:Strong attention to details is a mustExcellent problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer knowledgeAble to work with all levels of staffPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsProlonged periods standingOccasionally sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Preferred Skills: Excellent inventory and record keeping skillsA strong work ethic and hands-on approachTeam management and leadership skillsAbility to motivate staffAbility to prioritize workloadAdditional Notes:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
