We are looking for individuals that will make electromechanical assemblies and other products.We require the ability to understand engineering drawings, schematics, wire diagrams, and detailed work instructions on the computer.We require solid mechanical skills and confidence handling different tools. We prefer experience crimping small contacts with hand tools and **soldering *to* **our high-quality standards.Job ResponsibilitiesRead and follow work plans, engineering drawings, wire lists, blueprints, and schematicsProvide assembly functions, which may include crimping, soldering, working with printed circuit boards, and wire work for switches, harnesses, and cabinetsCommunicate issues with work plans, drawings, tools, or materials with appropriate team membersComply with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulationsComplete work correctly and efficientlySupport, reinforce, and defend the production of high-quality workQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experienceMust be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire listsMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsMust have solid mechanical skillsMust have strong critical thinking skillsMust be detail-orientedMust have the ability to crimp a variety of contactsMust be able to comply with all safety and procedural rulesMust have a basic knowledge of and ability to use computers, programs, and business toolsSoldering and wire bonding experience, preferredPrevious experience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with build-to-print projects, preferredCandidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.Leonardo DRS, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates are equal opportunity employers and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.\ #NPSYou should be proficient in:Blueprint ReadingElectrical SchematicsMechanical Assembly SkillsBasic Computer SkillsSalary info:$18 - $26 / hr
