The Direct Support Professional (DSP) in this role provides essential personal care and companionship support to clients, ensuring their well-being and safety. They adhere to On-Site Companionship Services Inc.'s mission, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include accurate task completion, comprehensive documentation of client records, including medical information and correspondence. The DSP prepares meals, maintains a Daily Log, and follows medical protocols diligently, reporting observations to the Program Specialist. They familiarize themselves with clients' Individualized Support Plans (ISPs), ensuring proper medication management and medical care. The DSP participates in team projects, attends meetings, and embodies appropriate conduct and communication. They facilitate recreational outings and assist with daily living activities, while maintaining meticulous documentation. Overall, the DSP plays a pivotal role in enhancing clients' lives through attentive care and support.
