We are looking for eager individuals to join the Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidates will be trained professionals who can provide top-level service tomatch the level of cuisine and the quality of the products we serve. We are looking for individuals who communicate well, are dependable, and enthusiastic. Thecandidates will have a passion for food and beverage equally and understand how to read a guest properly to ensure quality service, leaving a lasting impression and memorable experience.
MAIN DUTIES:
• Serving experience in an upscale market
• Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
• Manual handling
· Able to work well under pressure during times of high-volume service
· Exceptional upselling techniques
· To ensure all allergy procedures are followed at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience as a Room Service or a Server in a hotel or fine dining restaurant
· Knowledge of Micros POS System
· Highly organized
· Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
· Work in the Mini Bar when necessary
· To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
· To take personal responsibility for punctuality
