American Ultraviolet West is a manufacturer of capital equipment looking to hire an assembler. The essential duties of the job is as follows:
1. Assembles electrical and mechanical systems and subassemblies using common hand and power tools and measurement equipment.
2. Builds fixtures from assembly procedures, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instruction.
3. Recognizes defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes or faulty workmanship.
4. Conducts mechanical and basic electrical operational tests and troubleshooting on finished products and subassemblies.
5. Selects and uses appropriate hand and power tools and measurement equipment required for each task.
6. Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods.
