As anOrder Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of the entire service process from beginning to end.What we value:Bright, entrepreneurial, and industrious individuals looking to apply themselves creativelyIndividuals who are comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas, and driving changeEnergetic teammates looking for more than just a job to pay the billsPassionate individuals who naturally do more than is askedEssential duties of this position are:Prepare and distribute timely service estimatesInterpret commitments made to customers by other company employees and clarify when there is confusion or ambiguityResponsible for the procurement of all parts, equipment, and tools needed for each jobUtilize the support and coordinate the work of the service department to ensure each service job is managed with excellencePrioritize tasks based on customer needs (internal and external)Monitor quality from project planning through service completionProcess service-related warranties and returns to vendors in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain solid relationships with customers both internal and externalCommunicate directly with customers regarding scope, schedule, and costManage schedules for technicians and other field-service related personnelEmbody and exhibit Cogent's core values on a daily basisPositionOrder CoordinatorPosition RequirementsQualified candidates should have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities such as:Three years' minimum experience in entry-level construction management, project management or equivalentAbility to perform tasks with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to elicit cooperation and defuse tension, if necessary in a customer service environmentKnowledge of purchasing and sales techniquesExcellent project management skills; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service, interpersonal and phone etiquette skillsProficiency in MS Office including Word, ExcelProficiency in P21 or other accounting/scheduling software programsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsOther items of importance:The position is 90% office environment, 10% shopOvertime, without prior notice, may be requiredTravel may be required for training purposesWho we are:Cogent is a growing, Midwest company that provides creative and innovative fluid processing solutions.
