Job Description :
Darigold is looking for a Production Operator to join our team at our Chehalis location. The Production Operator must possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the facility. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator will work with others to achieve team goals. The Production Operator's role is to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable. Must have good attendance. This is a union position.What You Will Do:Responsible for routine monitoringRespond to reading and check during both the production and cleaning process (CIP)Produce a quality product in a safe mannerTrouble shooting, proper and accurate documentationAccurate documentation and full understanding of instruments and equipmentConsistently follow all GMP, PPE, Job Safety and Food Safety requirementsOther duties as assignedWhat You Will Bring:Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast- paced environment.Attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and/or repetitive tasks.Ability to maintain legible, accurate documentation.Work with others to achieve team goals.Must be able to maintain reliable attendance and timeliness.Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 56 pounds).Ability to stand for entire shift and climb stairs routinely.Ability and commitment to consistently follow instructions and training provided, work while wearing required personal protective equipment, and comply with all other job safety and food safety standards.Experience working in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
