We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our team in Orlando and provide expert legal representation in immigration matters.

Job Summary:

As an Immigration Attorney, you will advocate for clients in various immigration proceedings, offer legal counsel, prepare documentation, and represent clients before government agencies and courts. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of immigration law, strong advocacy skills, and a passion for assisting clients with their immigration needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Representation: Represent clients in immigration court, before USCIS, DHS, and other relevant agencies.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert legal counsel on immigration issues, rights, and obligations to clients.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of immigration matters, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are informed of case progress.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and stay current on immigration laws and policies.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Advocacy: Develop effective legal strategies and arguments to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach efforts and educate the public on immigration law and firm services.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive client information with discretion and adhere to ethical and legal confidentiality standards.
  • Support Tasks: Assist with administrative duties and other tasks to support the firm's operations as needed.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Licensure: Must be admitted to the bar in any U.S. state (Florida bar admission preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of previous experience practicing immigration law is highly desirable.
    • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
    • Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of immigration law, procedures, and documentation.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: Starting at $80,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
