DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Beverage manufacturer who is looking to add a Quality Assurance Manager to their team in Alabama. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing and directing the quality assurance activities for the plant.
QA Manager Responsibilities:
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Builds positive associate morale
- Ensures local, state, and federal, quality standards are met for products produced by the facility
- Oversees and directs the efforts of the plant Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACPP) plan, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) development, auditing, and corrective action plan development
- Investigates, reports, and formulates corrective action plans on plant specific consumer complaints, food safety complaints and complaint trends
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
QA Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
- 4+ years' relevant work experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates
- Knowledge of current Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACPP) /Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) regulations
