About the role and where you will be working:
Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. operates and supports three Community Options houses in Western Australia.Community Options is a residential mental health program facilitated at sites in Stirling, Mount Claremont and Bentley, that offer 24/7 care and support.
This is a casual position at Stirling Community OptionsWe support residents aged between 18 and 65 who require help following a long-term stay in hospital due to mental illness.

Using the recovery approach, you'll work alongside residents as they re-learn or gain new skills to live independently in the community. This will include:
About you:
You easily relate to and empathise with others and can comfortably support people with complex mental health conditions.It would be terrific if you have mental health qualifications, but we also welcome applications if you're currently undertaking studies in this field.If required, we'll provide you with medication competence training. As you gain experience, we will develop the capability to become an Approved Supervisor.
