Primary Responsibilities:
Our new colleagues tasks will include the property management, marketing, and leasing aspects of our business in Richmond, VA, and will work directly with, and report to, the Property Manager.
Day to day activities will include the following duties:
-Communication with customers (i.e., you will be the main point of contact and often the first point of inquiry for our residents in Richmond) relating to the following topics, among others:
-Communication with maintenance staff to ensure work order completion as well as help to prioritize maintenance activity
-Day-to-day implementation of leasing and marketing activities which includes the following:
-Monitoring inbound maintenance inquiries multiple weekends per month, primarily to respond to any emergency maintenance requests (e.g., HVAC service during the summer months, flooding from an above apartment, etc.)
-Assist the Property Manager to create new marketing materials and lead marketing campaigns
-Assist the Property Manager, as well as management colleagues, in other work areas as may be required from time to time

We primarily work from the office, but remote work may be practical and is permitted on occasion. This position requires the applicant to be on site in Richmond, VA most days of the work week. The frequency of on-site work and necessary office work depends on the level of project work at each property and the time of year, given the seasonality experienced in the leasing side of our business.
Qualifications:
Real estate and property management experience are preferred. But organizational, interpersonal, and general business senses and skills are most important. This position is ideal for someone who knows and enjoys commercial real estate but is an equally ideal position for someone interested in building a career in commercial real estate property and investment management.
Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years of post-collegiate work experience, but candidates with less, more, or no experience will be considered.
