The Village of Elm Creek is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker IV.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to, installation, service and repair of water services, mains, valves and fire hydrants. Using equipment to clean and maintain sanitary sewer mains. Mowing, snow removal, and pool maintenance and other repairs as assigned. High School Diploma or GED plus four years of progressively responsible work in manual labor and in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Must possess a valid Nebraska driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to obtain a Nebraska Commercial Class B CDL within 6 months of hire. Ability to obtain both a Grade IV State of Nebraska Water Operator License & a Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality Grade 1 Lagoon Wastewater License within first year of employment.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Wage depending on experience ($22.00 - $27.00 per hour). Pre-employment drug screening is required. Residency within the Village of Elm Creek is preferred.
