Brief Description: The Warehouse Specialist position is responsible for overseeing that all events and projects produced by Livewire, large and small, are well-planned and well-executed by means of ensuring that the company's facilities, equipment, and vehicles are appropriately organized, cleaned, and inventoried following and prior to each event/project. As the Warehouse Specialist, your job is largely based at our offices in Fargo, ND, and is primarily focused on ensuring the company's assets are always ready to go back out at a moment's notice. A core component of the position is to ensure clear and consistent communication flows between all parties. Warehouse Specialists work closely with upper management and the entire Livewire team to make sure that the right equipment arrives safely to and from each Livewire project. Additionally, a Warehouse Specialist may also assists in the facilitation of training of other or new Livewire staff members or freelancers on specific warehouse responsibilities such as inventory, cleaning, and storage of equipment. A Warehouse Specialist may also be requested to support the logistics surrounding a given event, including setup, tear-down, or delivery of equipment.

This position sometimes requires travel outside of Fargo, ND. As this position is deeply involved in the production of live events, which are often dictated by the schedules of clients, venues, and elements outside of our control, this position may require late nights, early mornings and work on the weekends. In turn, we do all we can to offer very flexible scheduling.

Duties include:

● Be a contributing member of your team! Maintain a positive, can-do attitude, and encourage and help teammates to be their most successful.

● Work with the Warehouse Operations Manager and other Livewire teammates to understand their vision and needs, as well as to work out any potential problems related to logistics, availability of equipment, and safe delivery of that equipment to/from the project site.

● As a representative of Livewire, ensure positive and clear communication with all involved parties, including Clients.

● Source and locate additional equipment for rental or purchase as needed/directed using our extensive list of vendor partners, and any contacts you might bring to the table.

● Collaborate with Livewire team members internally (e.g. at office) and externally (e.g. at event site) by assisting with their projects/needs if you are at a stand-still.

● Report any internal or external issues and escalate to management as needed.

● Manage client relationship and expectations before, during, and after events. Ensure any conflicts or problems in the eyes of the Client are resolved to all parties' satisfaction immediately.

● Use and continually develop leadership skills

Requirements (please include appropriate examples in your application materials):

● Trustworthy, self-motivated, self-starting, individual.

● Prior warehouse / inventory management experience.

● “Make it happen”, positive attitude while working in a rapidly-changing live event environment.

● Evidence of ability to think critically and quickly.

● Honesty and integrity.

● Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

● Able to maintain a safe working environment for self and others at all times.

● Multi-tasking and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

● Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.

● Authorized to work in the United States.

● Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, balancing input and making the best decision(s) for all involved.

Helpful:

● Strong computer and Internet skills desired.

● Ability to drive 26' box truck/large vehicles

Pay/Benefits: Pay is hourly between $19.50-$23.00, determined by an equivalent commensurate yearly salary (part-time and full-time positions are available). Overtime included for hourly positions. Benefits determined upon request. Livewire provides the following:

o Company vehicles are usually provided, in which case all fuel is paid. If for some reason this is not an option, mileage is paid at the current federal rate when using a personal vehicle.
