Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Livestock Worker/Ranch Hand to work in Renville, MN. From: 12/01/2024 - 05/01/2025 Work: 43 hrs./week, Mon.- Fri.8 hrs./day, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sat. 3hrs/day. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 02/15/2025 JOB DESCRIPTION: Feed, water, and monitor food and water supplies. Mix feed, additives and medicines in prescribed portions. Maintain heated watering system. Cleaning stalls, pens and equipment using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses or pumps. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Drive to town as needed for cattle supplies. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 month experience. Class D License or the ability to obtain regular Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Able to lift 50 lbs. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
