Job Description :

We are looking for an energetic person to join our team as a Team Lead/Sales Associate who enjoys working in a fast-paced and busy work environment! We have morning/afternoon/early evening shifts available that could include Saturdays. Must be an organized and efficient worker with great customer service skills. Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

  • Promptly greets customer on sales floor and determines customer needs.
  • Know merchandise, suggest selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility. Wraps or bags merchandise for customer. Understands recalls and product for Once Upon A Child.
  • Develop proficiency in operating computerized sales transactions, buys, returns, etc. Receives payment or obtains credit authorization.
  • Maintain store standards set by the store owner. Assists management in maintaining and providing a store that is appealing to both the buying and selling customer by creating an environment that is vibrant, organized, and clean.
  • Help promote events and promotions throughout the year that will compliment the mission that the store is a fun place to shop.
  • Support the management team in processing merchandise in a timely manner. Tag, sensor, and run merchandise to the sales floor. Rack order clothing according to company guidelines.
  • Aid in the reduction of inventory shortages via accuracy at processing, DRS functions, and by having an awareness of what is happening in the store including, but not limited to, the fitting room.
  • Understands, recites from memory and utilizes the non-negotiable standards with each customer.

    • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience unless currently attending high school.

    Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
