Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Team at our Bohemia, NY Headquarters. This candidate will assist and contribute to our Team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) while becoming familiar with the many different variables of the Sales life cycle.

This dynamic role will incorporate tasks such as fielding incoming calls, following up on quotes, scheduling customer visits, and supporting trade show preparation. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the ERP and CRM systems to ensure all progress is captured. The successful candidate will also have a career path opportunity to grow and advance into a Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities will require:

• Enthusiasm for associated tasks
• The ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment
• The ability to present themselves in a professional manner while interacting and communicating with customers and Team members
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and other CMS tools
• Strong communication, time management, organizational, and relationship building skills
• A US Citizenship required

The ideal candidate will need:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an inside sales and/or sales support role preferred
• Must be eager and willing to develop and learn the skills of the sales department through attending formal training and being mentored by the experienced business development Team
• Technical background a PLUS
