Senior / Principal Cloud Security Consultant, Azure Summary
Are you passionate about securing cloud infrastructures and staying ahead of the latest cybersecurity threats? We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior / Principal Cloud Security Consultant to join our dynamic team and build out our Microsoft Azure capabilities. As a Senior / Principal Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions for our clients' cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide security consultancy services across all projects, with an emphasis on cutting–edge technologies.
- Support leadership in building relationships with Microsoft Azure for Partners program.
- Support solutions implementation while evaluating risk to take advantage of the security, scalability, and economy of the cloud.
- Collaborate amongst consultants and customers on cloud security projects to improve a customer's overall security posture.
- Support customers and consultants on adopting modern, secure development and engineering methodologies.
- Support and contribute to applicable internal and open source projects.
- Document quality deliverables for client submission.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of firm methodologies and processes.
- Develop internal and externally facing publications such as blog articles, conference talks, panels, and open–source tool releases.
- Proactively stay up to date with developments in relevant technologies and share information amongst the team.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree or comparable military duty required.
Required Skills
- At least 3 years building solutions, understanding features, and utilizing security services with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong familiarity with IAM and access management patterns in Azure environments.
- Experience in a technical customer–facing consulting role, either external or internal customers.
- Experience working with compliance frameworks and standards (FedRAMP, PCI DSS, NIST, FISMA, ISO 27k, HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2).
- Experience implementing containerized or serverless workloads.
- Experience working with APIs, JSON, and YAML.
- Use of git version control and git–flow change management.
- Hands–on experience with Terraform and defining modules, resources with security best practices or to meet a compliance goal.
- Familiarity or hands–on experience with other public clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud are a plus.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CEH, CISA, CISM, GSEC, etc. are advantageous.
